In a quick glance!
A quick glance up,
a quick glance out,
out my old study window,
to see what is about.
Three grey squirrels,
hasten up a pole,
a woodpecker tapps,
tapps on an old tree,
many chick-a-dees,
on a feeder next to me.
O, how many, very many,
of God's blessings we see,
when we take glances;
Please take a glance,
glances up and out,
and all about with me!

TIME WELL SPENT!
I got up this morning,
filled the old coffee pot,
then I opened God's word,
and it's wisdom I sought.
Philippians was the book,
and with each word I read,
the message of chapter four,
was to keep good thoughts,
running through my head.
