BIBLE VERSES FOR TODAY!

 Psalm 1-2

Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.

But his delight is in the law of the Lord; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.

And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.

The ungodly are not so: but are like the chaff which the wind driveth away.

Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous.

For the Lord knoweth the way of the righteous: but the way of the ungodly shall perish.

Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing?

The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the Lord, and against his anointed, saying,

Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us.

He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision.

Then shall he speak unto them in his wrath, and vex them in his sore displeasure.

Yet have I set my king upon my holy hill of Zion.

I will declare the decree: the Lord hath said unto me, Thou art my Son; this day have I begotten thee.

Ask of me, and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession.

Thou shalt break them with a rod of iron; thou shalt dash them in pieces like a potter's vessel.

10 Be wise now therefore, O ye kings: be instructed, ye judges of the earth.

11 Serve the Lord with fear, and rejoice with trembling.

12 Kiss the Son, lest he be angry, and ye perish from the way, when his wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all they that put their trust in him.

Great Bible verses!

 Colossians 1:10-15

10 That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God;

11 Strengthened with all might, according to his glorious power, unto all patience and longsuffering with joyfulness;

12 Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light:

13 Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:

14 In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:

15 Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature:

Favorite Scripture verses!

Proverbs 3:5-10King James Version

Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.

In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the Lord, and depart from evil.

It shall be health to thy navel, and marrow to thy bones.

Honour the Lord with thy substance, and with the firstfruits of all thine increase:

10 So shall thy barns be filled with plenty, and thy presses shall burst out with new wine.

A Beautiful Psalm!

 Psalm 121

121 I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help.

My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth.

He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: he that keepeth thee will not slumber.

Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep.

The Lord is thy keeper: the Lord is thy shade upon thy right hand.

The sun shall not smite thee by day, nor the moon by night.

The Lord shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall preserve thy soul.

WONDERFUL WORDS!

 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18

13 But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.

14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.

15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.

16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:

17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

JUST THINKING!

HAVE YOU OFTEN WONDERED SBOUT YOUR PURPOSE IN LIFE? DO YOU WONDER WHAT YOU CAN DO TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE IN THIS OLD WORLD WHILE PASSING THROUGH?

AS I HAVE GOT OLDER AND CRIPPLED UP SO I CAN NOT GET OUT AND TEACH LIKE I USED TO; I HAVE THOUGHT ABOUT IT MUCH AND I HAVE COME THIS CONCLUSION,

IF WE CAN SAY OR DO ANYTHING NICE TO PUT SMILES ON THE FACE OF OTHERS AND HELP THEM TO KEEP ON KEEPING ON IN A GOOD WORK, THEN WE ARE FULFILLING A GOOD PURPOSE!!

COME WORSHIP!

 Oh, come worship my King,

Oh, come worship my King,

and let our hearts rejoice,

and His praises joyfully sing!

Oh, come worship my King,

Oh, come worship my King,

and may He too become your King,

this One who created everything!

Oh, come worship our King,

Oh, come worship our King,

let His light shine in,

and worship the only one,

who offers remission for our sin!

Oh, come worship our King,

Oh, come worship our King,

blending our voices,

let us joyfully sing,

Glory to God our Lord of Lords,

and our King of Kings,

for shedding His blood,

and the Salvation that brings!

NOVEMBER ELEVENTH!

It is November 11, a day we remember,

remember those in the Armed forces,

who fought, died and were wounded,

and lived a sacrificial life,

in the trenches for our freedom,

precious freedom we have today.

They showed agape love,

giving their lives for you and me.

So may we never forget,

forget them as long as we live.

Over 2000 years ago,

One Son of God gave His life,

on an old rugged ✝,

so those believing in His finished work,

giving us His agape love,

so we could have freedom,

freedom from sin and Eternal death,

receiving Eternal Life!

THE LIGHTHOUSE!

 THE LIGHTHOUSE

While driving in the country one night,
I saw a small lighthouse, placed on a lawn,
in it was a light, that shone from dusk to dawn.
The lighthouse was once used to warn,
the coming ships of dangers ahead,
especially in the bad storms, causing sailor’s dread.
what a comfort it must have been,
to see it’s flashing light guiding them,
around the reefs and the great rocks,
avoiding the danger, until the ship safely docks.
We believers in Christ, have a lighthouse,
as we sail this voyage on life’s sea,
it is Christ Himself, guiding you and me.
In the Bible, John tells us,
Jesus is the light of the world,
helping us see the poison darts,
Satan and all his demons hurl.
Dear friend, if you are still walking,
in the valley and darkness of sin,
why not ask Christ for forgiveness,
and let His light of guidance begin.

BEAUTIFUL WORDS!

 Philippians 4:6-9

Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.

And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.

Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you.

TODAYS BIBLE VERSE

 Psalm 136:2-4

O give thanks unto the God of gods: for his mercy endureth for ever.

O give thanks to the Lord of lords: for his mercy endureth for ever.

To him who alone doeth great wonders: for his mercy endureth for ever.
