The Covering!
Early on this day,
I look out my window,
and watch the deer play.
It snowed a blanket of white,
to cover the hills,
what a beautiful sight,
a white blessing from God,
sent to cover the dirty sod.
Some 2000 years ago,
God so loved the world,
He sent Jesus our way,
to give His life,
as a covering and redemption,
so we could share,
the greatest gift,
ever given,
Salvation for believing mankind.
I look out my window,
and watch the deer play.
It snowed a blanket of white,
to cover the hills,
what a beautiful sight,
a white blessing from God,
sent to cover the dirty sod.
Some 2000 years ago,

to give His life,

the greatest gift,
ever given,

Say Thank You
SAY THANK YOU
When you awake at dawn,
and are still able to yawn,
say thank you!
If you are tired and groggy,
and your mind is still foggy,
say thank you!
If you can still tie your shoes,
and smell the coffee brew,
say thank you!
If you can walk out the door,
and go to the store,
say thank you!
If you have a dear friend,
and have precious time to spend,
say thank you!
If you can begin each day,
and are able to pray,
say thank you!
If you can take time to be still,
and read God’s word,
and seek His will,
say thank you!
Even with all my sin,
by God’s grace,
into His sheltering arms,
He welcomed me in,
and I will always say thank you!

Today's Bible Reading
Psalm 23
King James Version (KJV)
23 The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.
2 He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.3 He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.
4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
5 Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.
6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.
Psalm 121
King James Version (KJV)
121 I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help.
2 My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth.3 He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: he that keepeth thee will not slumber.
4 Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep.
5 The Lord is thy keeper: the Lord is thy shade upon thy right hand.
6 The sun shall not smite thee by day, nor the moon by night.
7 The Lord shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall preserve thy soul.
8 The Lord shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore.
Words From a Friend!
Hi my friends, today I want to share this poem written by Winston Staples titled " sounds", it goes like this.
SOUNDS
I love the sound, of the morning dove,
when he calls his mate in love;
I love the sound, of the distant loon,
as he sings his mournful tune;
I love the sound, of the gentle breeze,
as it moves and rustles the leaves;
I love the sound, of the falling rain,
as it strikes against the window pane;
I love the sound, of the babbling brook’
as I sit and dangle my hook;
I love the sound, of the lullaby,
as the mother soothes her child’s cry.
I love the sound, all creation gives,
and shouts the news, our creator lives;
I love the sound, of God’s Holy word,
and the great message it gives to be heard,
salvation and great hope for the lost,
comes from God at great cost.
If this great truth they believe,
eternal life they shall receive.
There is a sound, I am waiting for,
the sound of a great shout,
and a trumpets blare,
when the Saints will meet,
Christ in the air;
We will be ushered to Heaven above,
because of His amazing grace and eternal love.

A FALL WALK
and see if a partridge,
I could spot.
I grabbed my old 20 gauge,
and a handful of bird shot,
and walked very slow,
you might say, I crept.
There was a crash,
there was a bounce,
I almost got ran over,
by a fleeing doe.
There was a snort,
and another deer ran,
I wished I had,
had my camera in hand,
I looked above,
as I heard the sound,
of the wild goose call.
O, how I love,
the sights and sounds of fall!
