LOVELY EVENING!

As I lay,
looking out my windows,
as snow flutters down,
today a foot of snow,
covers the ground.
The snow so fluffy,
so white,
O, how it will glisten,
when the moon shines tonight.
God's love and grace,
is like the white snow,
He forgives our sins,
by the crimson blood,
that Jesus shed,
to cover black sin,
white as snow.

THIS DAY

This day is quiet,
this day is gray,
the weather person,
don't mention snow today.
A New Year has began,
folk say thanks,
thanks for the old,
as a New Year they plan.
Thank you Heavenly Father,
for leading our way,
and may we,
always be thankful,
when we pray!
