This day is quiet,
this day is gray,
the weather person,
don't mention snow today.
A New Year has began,
folk say thanks,
thanks for the old,
as a New Year they plan.
Thank you Heavenly Father,
for leading our way,
and may we,
always be thankful,
when we pray!
